Air Bag Safety Campaign. The IACP recognizes the importance of occupant protection used both by adults and their children and is committed to encouraging members to take a more aggressive enforcement role in this area.

National Holiday Lifesaver Weekend. The week before Christmas, law enforcement agencies combine forces to identify and apprehend drunk and drugged drivers and other traffic violators.

Safe & Sober. This multi-year national campaign is designed to reduce the number of alcohol-related fatalities and to increase seat belt usage.

Survivors' Club. The club is made up of those deserving officers who have survived potentially fatal or disabling injuries through using personal body armor.

IACP Tribute to Slain Officers. SACOP awards this tribute to active-duty officers who die by felonious or accidental means during the course of performing police functions while on — or off — duty.
