Michelle Norton’s Story

Michelle Norton’s Story is the compelling narrative of a mother whose two sons were killed in the course of a law enforcement officer’s emergency response. This video was produced by NHTSA and ALERT and is intended for use in a roll call or in-service situation and will serve to reinforce the critical nature of emergency driving and reemphasize officers’ responsibility in the safe and prudent operation of their vehicles.

Upon the recommendation of the IACP’s Highway Safety Committee, the Foundation has distributed this video to every domestic IACP member agency and to each individual international member.
